Find a niche
Make an account with Google (this gives access to ad sense, adwords, keyword research, web tools, google groups, and more)
Go ahead and apply for Adsense if you have a website because it takes about a week to be approved.

Find keywords that are specific and popular so you can focus in on your target market
Set out goals for your first week - if you are starting from scratch they should look like this:
~ Plan out website design (pages, focus, services and content to be included)
~ Research domain and hosting packages (or send an email to in.vest@yahoo.com for information on how to get it for free)
~ Before purchasing a website, begin developing content
Follow through on your goals for week 1 (getting started is the hardest part and then it gets exciting!)
Research hosting and domain packages to find which one suits your needs. (Find out how to get it for free by emailing us at in.vest@yahoo.com )
Develop unique and interesting content. Spend as much time on this as possible, remember, helping the customer comes before having the customer help you.
While developing content, make an account with ClickBank.
Type in keywords related to your content, view their pitch pages, and if they are enticing click “create hoplink” to have an affiliate link created for you.
Weave your affiliate links into your content so that the products you promote are relevant and helpful.
If you already have your own products, plan out attractive pitch pages that will be enticing to customers and not set off “scam” bells.
Once you have a few solid pages of content purchase your website.
Pick a good keyword friendly domain name.
Make your website easy to navigate (all pages should link to all other pages)
Apply for ad sense with google if you haven’t already, it takes about a week to be approved
Make your webpages attractive, easy to read, and have them include profit generators.

Add the content you created to your pages once they have become easy to navigate

Update your content frequently and use headers and bolding to emphasize keywords

Begin driving traffic to your website when you are sure it has something of value to offer to your customers (otherwise there is no point in wasting your effort getting visitors to your site)
Use your google account to once again research keywords and then using Adwords promote your site for these phrases. Set up a budget and do not over spend on this form of advertising.
Create a blog at blogger.com. Update its content frequently and make it useful. It is used to get the word out about your site not promote products.
Make an account with eBay.
Sell your useful article, product, or program for $0.01
Make sure what you are selling entices the customer to want more and includes links to the sites or products you are promoting
Make an account with various Social Networking Sites (Facebook and MySpace are the big ones)
Use these sites to introduce your business to the world, do not spam or make the site for the sole intention of promoting your business and/or products and services.
Build relationships that could allow other people to join your team or purchase your products
Create an account with Yahoo! Answers.
Search for questions related to what your business offers
Answer questions with good answers and include links to your site in a way that is not self promoting.
Use your Google account to access Google Groups
Search for groups related to your business and post pages and articles about your business.
Try to post useful articles rather than promotional articles because spam is so prevalent that many people will simply ignore any self promotion.
Create your own Google Groups page and introduce yourself just as you did using social networks (Google Groups could actually be considered a social network)
Send targeted blasts of traffic to your site by finding niche groups and promoting your useful products to them
Post on forums, without directly promoting yourself but still getting word out about your business.
Develop a free product or newsletter to give away to your viewers
Give this product away free in exchange for your visitors email and name by using an email capture form.
Place the email capture on your homepage or use it as a pop up and use an auto responder to send it to them as soon as they type in their information.
Contact your visitors and treat them as people
Greet them, find out about their background, and personally respond to their questions.
Once you have earned their trust inform them of your products and services and keep close tabs with these leads.
Do not cut off contact with your leads for a few weeks and then expect to be able to easily resume it.
Watch as your leads convert and you make money selling your services online
Include Google Adsense on your site to make money from people who do not give you their contact information.
Place ads in places that do not interfere with your viewer’s view of the page. Use them on side bars, or use search boxes and related links rather than actual ads.
